My work lives at the intersection of aromatherapy, mindfulness, movement, storytelling, and culturally rooted wellness. But before it became a brand, a framework, or a body of work, it started as something much more personal: paying attention to the ways scent, stillness, and simple rituals helped me care for myself in real life.
About Me.
I have always been drawn to the quiet ways women care for themselves and each other. The things passed down without a formal name. The remedies someone used because “that’s just what we do.” The scent that brings comfort. The small practice that helps you breathe, settle, or feel like yourself again.

Over time, I began to see aromatherapy not just as essential oils, but as a doorway into memory, self-awareness, and intentional care. It became a way to ask better questions: What do I need right now? What helps me feel grounded? What am I reaching for, and why?

That curiosity eventually became Black Girl Aromatherapy — a space created for women of African descent to explore scent, plant-based support, mindfulness, and self-care in a way that feels familiar, accessible, and empowering.

I am a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Certified Aromatherapist, Certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher, Certified Group Fitness and Pilates Instructor, and doctoral student studying Performance Psychology. My approach brings together education, lived experience, cultural reflection, and practical wellness tools that women can actually use in their everyday lives.

Through Aroma-Education, Aroma-Prescription, and Aroma-Therapy, I help women learn, experience, and personalize aromatherapy in ways that support emotional wellness, stress management, self-awareness, and restorative self-care.

This work is not about doing wellness perfectly.

It is about slowing down enough to notice what your body, your story, and your spirit may already be telling you.

It is about having language for what you may have already been practicing in your own way.

And it is about creating space for Black women and women of African descent to feel seen, supported, and empowered in their wellness journey.

Welcome to Black Girl Aromatherapy.

I’m glad you’re here,
